I’m inclined to share this journey with UCS as a means of information to share with those of us who are diagnosed with UCS and a means of lending information to other about how this cancer rises and falls, and then rises again. As my Mayo Clinic oncologist has said to me often, sarcomas can be unpredictable.

I begin 6 rounds of Doxil tomorrow.

He ordered a biopsy of one of the tumors near the vaginal region in hopes that a targeted treatment could be used. Unfortunately, there were multiple mutations, many of which can not yet be targeted specifically.

Now what? I share this journey in my blog: https://charmainecoimbra.com/2019/06/27/oops-back-in-chemo-again/

My family and I savor each and every comment.

    Charmaine,

I am so sorry to hear about your re-occurrence of the cancer. Thank you for the link to your blog. I enjoyed reading it and getting to know you a little better. I believe sharing our experiences makes a difference for everyone dealing with this cancer.

Wishing you the best during your treatment!
