My mother is completely done with chemo and is declared in remission, but is having severe neuropathy symptoms. Any suggestions to help her?
I have a friend who had trouble with neuropathy in her hands and feet. She was told it could take 12-18 months to see improvement. She also saw a physical therapist who gave her some exercises to help with the pain. It has helped some but not taken the pain away altogether. You might look into that. I have neuropathy in my feet but have not had the major pain. Nothing was suggested for me. I guess different doctors treat issues differently. You might look into the physical therapy, though.
