Benita, known to her family as Mammy, suffered from a very rare and aggressive form of Ovarian Cancer called Gynecological Carcinosarcoma (GCS). She was diagnosed in October, 2012 and she passed away six years later in November, 2018 after enduring untold anguish.
In memory of Mammy, we invite you to join us in the 1st Annual Memorial 5K Run/Walk that will help raise funds for research for GCS. The ONLY research that is being done towards this cancer has been through the team at the GCS Project, a U.S. tax exempt 501(c)(3) organi-zation. The GCS Project is the designated charity for this annual event and 100% of every dollar raised will go towards research to find a cure so that no one else’s “Mammy” has to endure her level of suffering again.
Thank you for your support!
